Transparency about card processing charges

What is the processing fee?

Every card payment processed through our platform incurs a small fee charged by our payment processor, Stripe. This fee covers the cost of securely handling your card transaction, fraud prevention, and payment infrastructure.

How is it calculated?

2.9% + $0.30 per transaction

$50.00 payment

$1.75 fee

$120.00 payment

$3.78 fee

$150.00 payment

$4.65 fee

$300.00 payment

$9.00 fee

Why is this fee passed on?

As a non-profit organization, we strive to keep conference registration fees as low as possible. Rather than absorbing the processing cost into ticket prices — which would raise the base price for everyone, including those who may pay through alternative methods — we display the fee transparently so you know exactly where every dollar goes.

Payment Security

All payments are processed securely by Stripe, a PCI Level 1 certified payment processor — the highest level of certification in the payments industry. Your card details are never stored on our servers.
